1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the slave cylinder. It is usually attached to the transmission bell housing near the clutch fork.
3. Clean the area around the slave cylinder to prevent dirt and debris from entering the system.
4. Place a wrench or socket on the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder and loosen it 1/4 turn. Use a clear tube connected to the bleeder screw and route the other end of the tube to a container filled with brake fluid.
5. Have a friend press down on the clutch pedal slowly and hold it while you open the bleeder screw again. Observe if there are any air bubbles coming out of the tube along with the fluid. Repeat the bleeding process until no bubbles are observed and fresh brake fluid is flowing through the tube.
6. Be sure to keep an eye on the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top it off as necessary.
7. Once the slave cylinder is bled, tighten the bleeder screw and remove the wrench or socket.
8. Test the clutch pedal for proper operation.
