What is a PCV valve for?
PCV, or positive crankcase ventilation, valves control the flow of gas from the crankcase to the intake of an internal combustion engine so that it is sent through the combustion chambers. They're used to reduce emissions, improve fuel economy and extend the life of the engine oil.
