The oil filter on the 2.0L and 3.0L engines for the Infiniti J30 is located on the front side of the engine, mounted horizontally just below the exhaust manifold. It is best accessed from underneath the vehicle through the wheel well liner.
Instructions:
1. Position a suitable-sized oil drain pan under the oil filter to catch any dripping oil.
2. Unscrew the oil filter using an appropriate oil filter wrench.
3. Once removed, apply a thin layer of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter and screw it in.
4. Tighten the oil filter by hand until it is snug, then tighten it an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
5. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes, then check for any leaks.
