1. Locate the tail light assembly on the rear of the motorcycle.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the tail light lens in place.
3. Pull the tail light lens straight back to remove it from the housing.
4. Locate the tail light bulb socket inside the housing.
5. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
6. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
7. Insert a new bulb into the socket.
8. Twist the bulb socket clockwise to secure it in place.
9. Reinstall the tail light lens and the two screws.
Here are some additional tips for removing the tail light bulb from a 2003 Road King Classic:
* Make sure that the motorcycle is turned off and the ignition key is removed before you begin working.
* If the tail light bulb is hot, allow it to cool down before handling it.
* Be careful not to drop the tail light lens or the bulb.
