Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
Engage the parking brake.
Locate the clutch cable adjustment bolt on the firewall. It is usually a 10mm bolt.
Loosen the lock nut on the clutch cable adjustment bolt.
Turn the clutch cable adjustment bolt clockwise to tighten the clutch cable.
Check the clutch pedal free play. There should be about 1/2 inch of free play.
If the clutch pedal free play is not correct, repeat steps 4 and 5 until it is.
Tighten the lock nut on the clutch cable adjustment bolt.
Test the clutch pedal to make sure it is working properly.
