2. Remove the PCV valve. To do this, simply pull the hose off of the valve and then twist the valve counterclockwise until it comes out.
3. Inspect the PCV valve. The valve should be clean and free of debris. If it is dirty, it should be replaced.
4. Reinstall the PCV valve. To do this, simply insert the valve into the hole in the valve cover and turn it clockwise until it is tight.
5. Reattach the hose to the PCV valve.
