If the transmission pan gasket is worn or damaged, transmission fluid can leak from the bottom of the transmission.
2. Transmission Dipstick Tube:
The transmission dipstick tube is a thin metal tube that runs from the transmission to the engine bay. If the O-ring seal at the base of the dipstick tube is worn or damaged, transmission fluid can leak from the tube.
3. Transmission Output Shaft Seal:
The transmission output shaft seal is located at the rear of the transmission, where the driveshaft connects to the transmission. If the output shaft seal is worn or damaged, transmission fluid can leak from the rear of the transmission.
4. Transmission Cooler Lines:
The transmission cooler lines are the metal lines that run from the transmission to the radiator. If the cooler lines are damaged or the connections at the transmission or radiator are loose, transmission fluid can leak from the lines.
5. Transmission Case:
If the transmission case has any cracks or holes due to damage, transmission fluid can leak from these openings.
