How do you remove steering wheel and horn from a daewoo matiz?

Tools Needed:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Socket wrench set

- Extension bar

- Ratchet

Instructions:

1. Disconnect the battery. This is a safety precaution to prevent the airbag from deploying while you're working. To do this, first open the hood of your car. Then, locate the negative battery terminal (usually marked with a "-" sign). Use the wrench to loosen the nut on the negative terminal and remove the cable.

2. Remove the SRS (airbag) module. On the back of the steering wheel, you'll see four screws that hold the SRS (airbag) module in place. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove these screws and then carefully remove the module. Be careful not to touch the airbag inside the module.

3. Remove the steering wheel. Once the SRS module is removed, you'll be able to see the steering wheel bolt in the center of the wheel. This bolt is usually covered by a plastic cap. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry off the cap, and then use the socket wrench and extension bar to loosen and remove the bolt.

4. Pull the steering wheel off the shaft. Once the bolt is removed, you can pull the steering wheel straight up and off the shaft. If it is stuck, you may need to use a little force. Be careful not to drop the steering wheel.

5. Disconnect the horn. Behind the steering wheel, you'll see a wire connector attached to the horn switch. Use the flat-head screwdriver to release the connector, and then the horn is detached.

That's it! You have now successfully removed the steering wheel and horn from your Daewoo Matiz. To reinstall them, simply follow these steps in reverse order.
