How do you drain and flush the radiator on a 2002 S-10 Crew Cab 4x4?

To drain and flush the radiator on a 2002 S-10 Crew Cab 4x4:

1. Park your vehicle on level ground and allow the engine to cool down. The engine should be cool enough to touch. If the engine is hot, wait for it to cool down before proceeding.

2. Locate the radiator drain plug. The drain plug is usually located on the bottom of the radiator. It is typically a plastic or metal bolt.

3. Place a drain pan under the radiator drain plug. The drain pan should be large enough to catch all of the coolant that drains from the radiator.

4. Open the radiator drain plug. Use a wrench to turn the drain plug counterclockwise until it opens.

5. Allow the coolant to drain from the radiator. The coolant may take a few minutes to drain completely.

6. Close the radiator drain plug. Once all of the coolant has drained from the radiator, use a wrench to turn the drain plug clockwise until it is closed.

7. Remove the radiator cap. To remove the radiator cap, turn it counterclockwise. Be careful not to open the radiator cap too quickly, as this can cause the coolant to spray out. If you don't remove the radiator cap carefully the radiator system can be put under negative pressure and not take on new fluid as it is poured into the radiator.

8. Flush the radiator with water. Use a hose to flush the radiator with water. Turn on the hose and let it run until the water that comes out of the radiator is clear.

9. Close the radiator cap. Once the radiator has been flushed with water, close the radiator cap.

10. Add new coolant to the radiator. Add coolant to the radiator until it reaches the "Full" mark.

11. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will help to circulate the new coolant throughout the engine.

12. Check the coolant level again and add more coolant if necessary. The coolant level should be at the "Full" mark.
