3. Remove the four (4) bolts that secure the drum cover to the drum.
4. Remove the drum cover.
5. Remove the four (4) bolts that secure the drum bearing housing to the drum.
3. Old Bearing Removal:
1. Gently pry the old bearing out of its housing using a pry bar or bearing puller.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the bearing housing.
4. Cleaning and Inspection:
1. Clean the bearing housing and surrounding areas to remove any dirt, debris, or grease.
2. Inspect the bearing housing for any damage or excessive wear.
3. If damage is found, the bearing housing may need to be replaced.
5. New Bearing Installation:
1. Apply a thin layer of grease to the inner surface of the bearing housing.
2. Place the new bearing into the housing, ensuring it is seated correctly.
3. Secure the new bearing by replacing the four (4) bolts removed in step 2.5.
4. Tighten the bolts securely.
6. Drum Reassembly:
1. Reattach the drum cover using the four (4) bolts removed in step 2.3.
2. Reattach the discharge chute using the four (4) bolts removed in step 2.1.
7. Testing and Maintenance:

2. Test the cement mixer by turning it on and allowing the drum to rotate.
3. Ensure there is no abnormal noise or vibration.
