3. Use a screwdriver. A screwdriver can also be used to pry open a door lock. Insert the screwdriver into the door lock and turn it to release the latch.
Once you have opened the door, you can start the truck by turning the key ignition switch to the "On" position. If you do not have a key, you can use a jumper wire to bypass the ignition switch. To do this, locate the ignition switch and connect one end of the jumper wire to the positive terminal and the other end to the starter terminal. This will bypass the ignition switch and allow you to start the truck.
