2. Prepare your vehicle.
- Park your vehicle on a level surface.

- Remove any dirt, debris, or old sealant.
7. Apply sealant to the new speed sensor.
- Apply a small amount of sealant to the threads of the new speed sensor.
- This will help to prevent leaks and ensure that the sensor is properly sealed.
8. Install the new speed sensor.
- Screw the new speed sensor into the mounting surface on the transmission.
- Tighten the mounting bolt until it is snug.
9. Reconnect the speed sensor connector.
- Push the speed sensor connector back onto the sensor until it clicks into place.
- Make sure that the locking tab is engaged.
10. Lower the vehicle.
- Use the jack and jack stands to lower the vehicle until it is back on the ground.
11. Test the speed sensor.
- Start the engine and let it idle.
