Where is the engine serial number located on a cummins n14?

The engine serial number on a Cummins N14 engine can be found on a metal tag usually attached to the cylinder block on the left side of the engine behind the cylinder head and can be visible from the left outside, or on a vertical surface near the front of the cylinder block at the right or left side. Look for a tag that says "Cummins Engine" and has a number stamped into it. This is the engine serial number.
