2. Bleed the air from the fuel line. This can be done by loosening the bleeder screw on the fuel filter or injection pump.
3. Fill the fuel tank with diesel.
4. Turn on the ignition and wait for the glow plugs to warm up.
5. Crank the engine until it starts.
If the engine does not start after several attempts, you may need to prime the fuel system. This can be done by using a hand pump to inject fuel into the injector pump or by using a starter fluid.
Once the engine has started, let it run for a few minutes to allow the fuel system to fully prime. You may need to increase the engine speed to prevent it from stalling.
Note: If your diesel engine has a fuel filter, you may need to replace it after running out of fuel. This is because the fuel filter can become clogged with debris when the fuel tank is empty.
