1. Locate the speed control knob. It is usually located on the right-hand side of the steering column.
2. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the speed or counterclockwise to decrease it. The speed will be displayed on the instrument panel.
3. Test the speed by driving the forklift at a safe speed. Make sure the speed is comfortable and allows you to maintain control of the forklift.
Tips for Adjusting Speed
* Start at a low speed and gradually increase it until you reach the desired speed.
* Be aware of your surroundings and adjust your speed accordingly.
* Slow down when turning, going uphill, or driving in wet or slippery conditions.
* Come to a complete stop before changing direction.
* Always use the parking brake when the forklift is stopped.
