1. Gather your materials. You will need:
* A plastic tube (at least 1/4 inch in diameter and long enough to reach from the bottom of the fuel tank to the outside of the car)
* A gas can
* A funnel
* A pair of pliers
* A screwdriver
2. Prepare the plastic tube. If the tube is not already flared at one end, use the pliers to create a small flare. This will help to prevent the tube from slipping out of the fuel tank.
3. Locate the fuel tank. The fuel tank is usually located under the rear of the car. There may be a plastic cover over the fuel tank; if so, remove it.
4. Open the fuel tank. Remove the gas cap and set it aside.
5. Insert the plastic tube into the fuel tank. Insert the flared end of the plastic tube into the fuel tank. Push the tube in until it reaches the bottom of the tank.
6. Connect the gas can to the plastic tube. Attach the funnel to the gas can and then insert the funnel into the end of the plastic tube.
7. Start the gas can. Turn the gas can upside down and allow the gas to flow into the fuel tank.
8. Monitor the fuel level. Keep an eye on the fuel level in the gas can. When the gas can is empty, stop pouring gas into the fuel tank.
9. Remove the plastic tube from the fuel tank. Once the fuel tank is empty, remove the plastic tube from the tank. Be careful not to spill any gas.
10. Replace the gas cap. Put the gas cap back on the fuel tank.
11. Clean up. dispose of any leftover gas cans.
