Where is the oil pump for vw vanagon?

The oil pump for a VW Vanagon is located on the front of the engine, near the bottom. It is driven by a belt that runs from the crankshaft to the oil pump. The oil pump sucks oil from the oil pan and pumps it through the oil filter and then to the engine bearings and other moving parts.
