- A working remote keyless entry transmitter (key fob).

- A flathead screwdriver.
1. Ensure the vehicle is locked.
2. Open the driver's door and insert the key into the ignition.
3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
4. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob for about five seconds.
5. Within 10 seconds, press the "Lock" button on the key fob.
6. Within 10 seconds, press the "Trunk" button on the key fob.
7. Once you have pressed all three buttons, the door locks will cycle twice to confirm that the new key fob has been programmed.
8. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
9. Test the new key fob by locking and unlocking the vehicle.
