1. Open the hood of your Megane.
2. Locate the gearbox. It is usually located near the front of the engine, below the air filter.
3. The gearbox filler plug is usually located on the top of the gearbox. It is a black plastic plug with a hexagonal head.
4. To remove the filler plug, use a 17mm wrench to loosen the plug.
5. Once the plug is loose, you can unscrew it by hand.
6. Be careful not to drop the washer that is located under the plug.
7. Once the plug is removed, you can fill the gearbox with the appropriate type of oil.
8. The oil capacity for a Renault Megane gearbox is usually around 2 liters.
9. Once the gearbox is filled, replace the filler plug and tighten it with a 17mm wrench.
