Emergency fuel door release on a 2004 jaguar x type?

To release the emergency fuel door on a 2004 Jaguar X-Type:

1. Open the driver’s door.

2. Locate the emergency fuel door release lever. It is located beneath the dashboard, to the left of the driver’s knee.

3. Press down on the lever and pull it towards you. This will release the fuel door.

4. Open the fuel door and refuel your vehicle.

5. Close the fuel door and press on it to ensure that it is properly latched.
