How do you remove a door panel on 2000 Jetta to put the window back its tracks?

To remove a door panel on a 2000 Jetta to put the window back in its tracks, you will need the following tools:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Pliers

- Socket wrench

Step 1: Remove the door panel screws.

Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the door panel in place. These screws are located in the door handle and armrest.

Step 2: Pry off the door panel clips.

Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry off the four clips that hold the door panel in place. These clips are located around the perimeter of the door panel.

Step 3: Disconnect the door panel wiring.

Use the pliers to disconnect the door panel wiring. These wires are located near the bottom of the door panel.

Step 4: Remove the door panel.

Lift the door panel up and off of the door.

Step 5: Remove the window regulator.

Use the socket wrench to remove the three bolts that hold the window regulator in place. These bolts are located on the inside of the door.

Step 6: Put the window back on track.

Slide the window back onto the track.

Step 7: Reinstall the window regulator.

Reinstall the window regulator and secure it with the three bolts.

Step 8: Reinstall the door panel.

Lower the door panel onto the door and reconnect the wiring.

Step 9: Secure the door panel clips.

Push the four door panel clips back into place.

Step 10: Replace the door panel screws.

Replace the two door panel screws that you removed in Step 1.
