How do you replace a brake light bulb on 2004 Maxima?

2004 Maxima Rear Brake Light Bulb Replacement

Tools Needed:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- New brake light bulb

Instructions:

- Park your Maxima in a safe location and turn off the engine.

- Open the Maxima’s trunk.

-Locate the brake light assembly on the side of the trunk lid; There are three screws holding the brake light assembly in place: two at the top and one at the bottom.

-Remove the screws using the Phillips-head screwdriver.

- Carefully remove the brake light assembly from the lid.

- Twist the old bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.

- Install the new bulb by twisting it clockwise into the socket.

- Reattach the brake light assembly to the lid and replace and tighten the three screws.

- Test the brake lights to ensure that they are working properly.

- Close the trunk and you’re done!
