Instructions:
>1. Park your car on a level surface. Engage the parking brake.
>2. Locate the oil drain plug. The drain plug is located on the bottom of the oil pan.
* On the 20V Turbo engine, the drain plug is a 17mm bolt located on the bottom of the oil pan.
>3. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug. Make sure the pan is large enough to catch all of the oil that will drain from the engine.
>4. Loosen the oil drain plug. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil pan.
>5. Allow the oil to drain completely. Allow all of the oil to drain from the engine into the oil drain pan. This may take a few minutes.
>6. Replace the drain plug. Once all of the oil has drained, replace the drain plug. Tighten the drain plug securely.
>7. Locate the oil filter. The oil filter is located on the left side of the engine. It’s a cylindrical object with a black cap.
>8. Remove the oil filter. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter. Be careful not to spill any oil.
>9. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter. This will help to create a seal and prevent leaks.
>10. Screw on the new oil filter. Hand-tighten the oil filter until it is snug. Do not over-tighten the oil filter.
>11. Add new oil to the engine. Use a funnel to add new oil to the engine. Add the amount of oil specified in your vehicle owner's manual.
>12. Check the oil level. Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
>13. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
>14. Check for leaks. Look under the car for any leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the oil drain plug or oil filter until the leak stops.
