- New hydraulic fluid
- A funnel
- A 10 mm Allen key
- A Phillips screwdriver
- A flat-head screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Open the trunk of your Volkswagen Golf.
2.Locate the roof pump. It is located on the right side of the trunk, behind the trim panel.
3.Remove the trim panel by prying it up with a flat-head screwdriver.
4.Locate the fill plug on the roof pump. It is a 10 mm Allen bolt.
5.Remove the fill plug with the 10 mm Allen key.
6.Insert the funnel into the fill hole.
7.Add new hydraulic fluid until it reaches the "FULL" mark on the reservoir.
8.Replace the fill plug and tighten it with the 10 mm Allen key.
9.Reinstall the trim panel by snapping it back into place.
10.Close the trunk.
Your Volkswagen Golf roof pump is now topped up with hydraulic fluid.
