* Step 1: Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) in the sequence shown below.
* Step 2: Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) in the sequence shown below.
* Step 3: Loosen the cylinder head bolts one turn in the reverse order of tightening.
* Step 4: Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) in the sequence shown below.
* Step 5: Rotate the crankshaft 90 degrees.
* Step 6: Repeat steps 3 and 4.
* Step 7: Rotate the crankshaft 90 degrees.
* Step 8: Repeat steps 3 and 4.
