To compress the caliper piston on a 2004 VW Jetta TDI, you will need the following tools:

- A C-clamp

- A flathead screwdriver

- A pair of pliers

Instructions:

1. Park your car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Locate the caliper on the wheel that you need to service.

3. Use the C-clamp to compress the caliper piston. You may have to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the dust boot back in order to access the piston.

4. Turn the caliper piston clockwise until it is fully seated.

5. Once the piston is seated, use the pliers to remove the C-clamp.

6. Reinstall the dust boot.
