You will need:
* A new pair of boot struts
* A flat-head screwdriver
* A Phillips-head screwdriver
* A 10mm socket wrench
* A ratchet
Step 2: Open the boot and remove the old struts.
1. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry open the plastic covers at the top of the boot struts.
2. Once the covers are removed, you will see the 10mm bolts that hold the struts in place.
3. Use the socket wrench and ratchet to loosen the bolts.
4. Once the bolts are loosened, you can remove the old struts by hand.
Step 3: Install the new struts.
1. Insert the new struts into the holes in the boot lid.
2. Hand-tighten the 10mm bolts.
3. Use the socket wrench and ratchet to tighten the bolts securely.
4. Replace the plastic covers.
Step 4: Test the new struts.
1. Open and close the boot several times to make sure that the new struts are working properly.
