To fill the transmission fluid, you will need a funnel and a quart of BMW-approved transmission fluid. Insert the funnel into the transmission fluid fill plug, and pour the fluid slowly until it begins to overflow. Once the fluid is overflowing, replace the transmission fluid fill plug, and you're done.
