1. Locate the oil filter housing on the engine block, near the oil drain plug.
2. Remove the oil filler cap on the top of the engine block.
3. Place an oil pan under the oil filter housing to catch the old oil.
4. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter.
5. Remove the oil filter and drain the old oil.
6. Inspect the oil filter for any damage or debris.
7. Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
8. Screw the new oil filter onto the oil filter housing until it is snug.
9. Replace the oil filler cap and oil pan.
10. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new oil.
