1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Remove the oil filter housing cover.
3. Locate the oil level/position sensor attached to the bottom of the oil filter housing.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor and use the 17 mm wrench to loosen and remove the sensor from the housing.
5. Apply a thin coat of motor oil to the O-ring of the new sensor.
6. Screw the new sensor into the housing until it is snug.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the sensor.
8. Replace the oil filter housing cover.
