Instructions:
1.) Open the hood of your Peugeot 306 XSI.
2.) Locate the throttle body. It is located on the passenger side of the engine bay.
3.) Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body by prying up on the retaining clip with a flathead screwdriver.
4.) Disconnect the throttle cable from the accelerator pedal by removing the two bolts that hold it in place with a box-end wrench.
5.) Remove the old throttle cable from the engine bay.
6.) Install the new throttle cable by reversing the steps above.
7.) Test the throttle cable by operating the accelerator pedal to make sure it is working properly.
Tips:
- Make sure the new throttle cable is the same length as the old cable.
- Be careful not to damage the throttle body or accelerator pedal when disconnecting the cable.
- If the throttle cable is difficult to remove, you may need to use a penetrating oil to loosen it up.
