2. Remove the serpentine belt tensioner. The tensioner is located above the alternator. Use a wrench to loosen the tensioner bolt, then remove the belt by hand.
3. Remove the old alternator belt. Use a wrench to loosen the alternator bolt, then remove the belt by hand.
4. Install the alternator belt. Place the new belt around the alternator pulley, then use a wrench to tighten the tensioner nut until the belt is snug.
5. Start the engine and check the belt tension. The belt should be snug, but not too tight. If necessary, adjust the tension using the tensioner nut.
