* Frame: The VIN could be stamped directly on the frame, usually on the left side near the front. However, this location might be difficult to access if the frame is covered with rust or paint.
* Title and Registration: Your vehicle's title and registration documents will also list the VIN.
Important Note: The VIN on older cars like the 1955 Bel Air may not be as standardized as modern VINs. You may need to look carefully for a series of numbers and/or letters that are clearly different from other markings on the vehicle.
