1. Driver's side dashboard: This is the most common location. Look through the lower edge of the windshield on the driver's side. The VIN is usually stamped on the metal dash.
2. Driver's side doorjamb: The VIN may also be stamped on the sticker on the driver's side doorjamb. This sticker often contains other vehicle information as well.
3. Vehicle title and/or registration: Your vehicle's title and registration documents will also list the VIN.
While the dashboard is the most reliable place to find it, checking all three locations will help ensure you find it.
