* Driver's side dashboard: This is the most common location. Look through the lower part of the windshield on the driver's side. The VIN is usually visible from outside the vehicle.
* Driver's side doorjamb: The VIN is often stamped on the doorjamb, near the latch area.
* Vehicle title or registration: Your vehicle's title or registration documents will also list the VIN.
While the dashboard is the most likely place, it's worth checking all three locations if you can't find it immediately.
