How can you tell if a Cadillac SRX 4 wheel drive or 2 drive?

The easiest way to tell if a Cadillac SRX is 2-wheel drive (2WD) or 4-wheel drive (4WD) is to look at the badging. A 4WD SRX will have a badge indicating all-wheel drive (AWD) — Cadillac used AWD, not 4WD, terminology for the SRX. You'll typically find this badge on the rear of the vehicle, possibly also on the doors or liftgate.

If there's no AWD badge, it's a 2WD vehicle (front-wheel drive in the SRX's case).

You can also check the:

* Owner's manual: This will definitively state the drivetrain.

* Vehicle identification number (VIN): A VIN decoder (many are available online) can reveal the drivetrain information. However, this requires the VIN.

The absence of an AWD badge strongly suggests it's 2WD, but checking the owner's manual or VIN decoder is the most reliable method.
