* Dashboard: Look on the lower left corner of the dashboard, visible through the windshield. This is the most common location.
* Driver's side doorjamb: The VIN is often stamped on the doorjamb, visible when the driver's door is open.
* Vehicle Identification Plate: This plate is usually riveted to the firewall, sometimes on the driver's side, and lists the VIN. It can be harder to access than the other locations.
It's best to check the dashboard first, as it's the easiest to access. If you can't find it there, check the doorjamb and then the firewall.
