How do you change km to mph in the speedometer a 1991 Lincoln Town Car?

You can't change the speedometer itself on a 1991 Lincoln Town Car (or most cars of that era) from kilometers per hour (km/h) to miles per hour (mph). The speedometer is a mechanical or early electronic device calibrated at the factory. There's no user-adjustable setting.

To get mph readings, you'll need to either:

* Do the conversion mentally or with a calculator: The conversion is approximately 1 km/h = 0.621 mph. You would look at the km/h reading on the speedometer and multiply by 0.621.

* Use a GPS device or smartphone app: Modern GPS units and navigation apps will almost always display speed in mph (or allow you to select mph). This is by far the easiest and most accurate method.

In short, there's no internal switch or adjustment to change the unit on the speedometer itself.
