* Driver's side dashboard: This is the most common location. Look on the lower part of the dashboard, usually visible through the windshield.
* Driver's side doorjamb: The VIN may be stamped on the doorjamb, near the latch.
* Engine compartment: Check the firewall (the metal partition between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment). It might be on a sticker or stamped directly onto the metal.
* Title and registration documents: The VIN will be listed on your vehicle's title and registration.
