How do you release the parking brake on a 93 Cadillac fleetwood?

The 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood has a traditional hand-operated parking brake. To release it, simply pull the lever up (towards the dashboard) as far as it will go. There may be some resistance, especially if the brake is firmly engaged. If it's particularly stuck, you might need to gently rock the car back and forth while pulling the lever to break it free.
