The solenoid pack on a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser is located
on the transmission itself. It's not a easily accessible standalone unit. You'll likely need to get under the car to see it. It's usually on the passenger side (right side in the US) of the transmission, near the transmission's control module.
Because it's integrated into the transmission, accessing it often requires removing or at least partially disassembling parts of the transmission. This is a job best left to a professional mechanic unless you have significant automotive experience.
