How do you adjust the side mirrors of a 1993 Toyota Corolla?

The 1993 Toyota Corolla's side mirrors are adjusted manually. There's no power adjustment. You'll find a small lever or knob on the inside of the door, usually near the armrest or window controls.

This lever or knob will have a control for each mirror. By moving it up/down or left/right, you can adjust the corresponding side mirror. There's usually a separate control for the driver's side and passenger's side mirrors.

To adjust:

1. Locate the adjustment levers/knobs: These are usually small and can be easily overlooked. Feel around the inside of the door panel where your arm would rest.

2. Identify which lever/knob adjusts which mirror: This might be obvious from their position, or you might need to experiment to figure it out.

3. Move the lever/knob: Move the lever or knob in the direction you want to adjust the mirror. Experiment to get a feel for how the adjustment works.

Remember to adjust your mirrors to eliminate or minimize your car's blind spots, using the recommended "extended view" method. This means setting the mirrors so you can see only a sliver of your car's body in each mirror, expanding the visibility beyond the area directly behind your car.
