1. Under the hood: The owner's manual will have a diagram specifically for the under-hood fuse box. This box usually contains higher-amperage fuses protecting major electrical components.
2. Inside the passenger compartment: There's usually a smaller fuse panel (sometimes called a fuse block or panel) located inside the vehicle, often under the dashboard on the driver's side. The owner's manual will have a separate diagram for this interior fuse panel.
To find the charts: Look for sections titled something like:
* "Fuse Box Diagrams"
* "Underhood Fuse Panel"
* "Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel"
* "Electrical System Fuses"
The diagrams will show the fuse layout with a legend identifying which fuse protects which circuit (e.g., headlights, power windows, radio). They may also provide amperage ratings for each fuse. If you can't find it in the printed manual you can also search online for a digital version of your vehicle's owner's manual. Ford's website often has these available for download.
