Where is the fuseable link on a 1989 Chevy Caprice?

The 1989 Chevy Caprice doesn't have a single, easily identifiable "fuseable link" like some older cars. Instead, it uses more modern circuit protection methods, primarily fuses and circuit breakers. There's no single point of failure designed to melt and break the circuit in the way a traditional fuseable link would.

The primary protection is through the fuse block(s) located under the hood and possibly inside the car (depending on options). If you're experiencing an electrical problem, check all the fuses and, if equipped, the circuit breakers in those boxes first. They're much more likely to be the source of the issue than a hidden fuseable link.
