1. Locate the dome light. The dome light is located on the ceiling of the car, near the center.
2. Press the release tabs. There are two release tabs on the dome light cover, one on each side. Press and hold both release tabs at the same time.
3. Pull down on the cover. Once you're pressing the release tabs, pull down on the cover to remove it.
4. Replace the bulb (Optional). If you need to replace the dome light bulb, now is the time to do so. Simply twist the old bulb counterclockwise to remove it, and twist the new bulb clockwise to install it.
5. Replace the cover. Once you're finished replacing the bulb, snap the cover back into place. Make sure that the release tabs click into place.
Here are some additional tips:
- Be careful not to drop the dome light cover.
- If the release tabs are difficult to press, you can use a small screwdriver or other pry tool to help you.
- If the cover is stuck, you can try applying some penetrating oil to the release tabs.
