1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. This will prevent any electrical shock while you are working.
2. Locate the map sensor. The map sensor is usually located on the intake manifold, near the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the map sensor.
4. Remove the two bolts that hold the map sensor in place.
5. Remove the old map sensor and gasket.
6. Install the new map sensor gasket and map sensor.
7. Reinstall the two bolts that hold the map sensor in place.
8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the map sensor.
9. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks.
