2. Pull the trunk release cable. Pull the trunk release cable to open the trunk. If it does not work use the key.
3. Open the trunk. Once the trunk is open, you can remove the contents of the trunk and access the spare tire and other items that are stored in the trunk.
If you are unable to open the trunk using the trunk release cable, you may need to use the key.
1. Insert the key into the trunk lock. The trunk lock is located on the passenger side of the trunk lid.
2. Turn the key to the right. Turn the key to the right to open the trunk.
3. Open the trunk. Once the trunk is open, you can remove the contents of the trunk and access the spare tire and other items that are stored in the trunk.
If the remote control/fob is not working to unlock the trunk, the batteries in it may be dead. You can try to replace the batteries and try again.
