- When the DTC button is pressed once to activate the DTC mode, the traction control system will allow more wheel slip and the engine torque will be reduced to prevent the wheels from spinning excessively. This can be useful in low-traction conditions, such as snow or ice.
- When the DTC button is pressed again to deactivate the DTC mode, the traction control system will return to its normal operation and the engine torque will no longer be reduced.
