House paint on exterior of car. has dried. how can it be removed without damaging car?

Materials needed:

- Mild dish soap

- Warm water

- Soft sponge

- Rubbing alcohol

- Microfiber cloth

Steps:

1. Preparation: Park the car in a shaded area and ensure the surface of the car is cool to the touch.

2. Soapy water solution: Mix a mild dish soap with warm water in a bucket.

3. Sponge application: Dip the soft sponge into the soapy water and gently rub the paint spots in a circular motion. Avoid scrubbing too vigorously to prevent damage to the car's clear coat.

4. Rinse: Use a clean, wet sponge to thoroughly rinse the area, ensuring that all soap residue is removed.

5. Rubbing alcohol: Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to a clean, microfiber cloth.

6. Gently rub: Rub the cloth with rubbing alcohol over the remaining paint spots, working in small sections at a time. Rubbing alcohol is an effective solvent that can break down the paint.

7. Rinse again: Rinse the affected areas thoroughly with clean, warm water to remove any residual rubbing alcohol.

8. Dry: Use a dry, clean microfiber cloth to pat the area dry and prevent water spots.

Note: If the house paint is stubborn and doesn't come off easily, it may be necessary to repeat steps 5 and 6 or consider using a commercial car paint remover specifically designed for removing latex paint. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe and effective use.

*Test a small, inconspicuous area before using the rubbing alcohol to ensure that it does not affect the car's paint or finish.*
