1. Remove the sunroof trim panel. This is held in place by several screws, which can be removed with a screwdriver.
2. Unscrew the sunroof mounting brackets. There are four of these brackets, located at the corners of the sunroof opening.
3. Lift the sunroof out of the car. This may require a little bit of force, as it may be sealed in place with weatherstripping.
4. Disconnect the sunroof drain hoses. These are located at the front and rear of the sunroof opening.
5. Remove the sunroof motor. This is located on the passenger side of the sunroof opening, and is attached with several screws.
To reinstall the sunroof, follow the steps in reverse order.
